Day Trips

1. Ooty (36 km)
The "Queen of Hill Stations." Visit the botanical gardens, take the toy train, and enjoy the cooler climate. Full-day trip recommended.
2. Pykara Lake & Falls
Scenic lake and waterfall perfect for a half-day excursion. Boating available.
3. Tea Estates
Tour working tea plantations and learn how tea is processed from leaf to cup. Factory visits can be arranged.
4. Elephant Camp
Visit the forest department's elephant camp where rescued and trained elephants are cared for. Morning feeding and bathing sessions.
